NSC Technologies, LLC seeks a seasoned General Mechanic to join our dynamic team. As a vital member of our maintenance crew, you will oversee the repair and maintenance of complex diesel and electrical equipment in shipyards and aboard vessels. This role demands strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as effective collaboration with colleagues and supervisors.
Main Responsibilities:
• Troubleshoot and repair complex diesel and electrical equipment, including MHE and SMSE.
• Collaborate with QA inspectors to ensure all repairs meet industry standards and guidelines.
• Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and control schematics to execute repairs accurately.
• Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
Necessary Qualifications:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the repair and overhaul of shipboard MHE and SMSE.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as engine analyzers, voltmeters, and gauges.
• Strong understanding of technical manuals and the ability to interpret complex schematics.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written.
