About the Job: We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Maintenance Expert to join our team in Norfolk, Virginia. As a Mechanical Maintenance Expert, you will be responsible for performing mechanical repairs and maintenance on heavy equipment, including dozers, excavators, heavy haul trucks, etc. You will also prepare work orders and order parts, fuel equipment, and maintain daily logs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair diesel engines, hydraulics, brakes, transmission, steering, and other systems
  • Experience with heavy equipment maintenance, including dozers, excavators, heavy haul trucks, etc.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require considerable use of your arms, legs, and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials
