Manufacturing Quality Assurance Lead

Reporting Structure:
You will report directly to the Head of CS&Q Prefab Customer Satisfaction & Quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, execute, and uphold quality control protocols and procedures for manufacturing operations.
- Oversee and coordinate quality assurance initiatives, audits, and inspections to guarantee adherence to industry standards and customer specifications.
- Evaluate manufacturing workflows to pinpoint improvement opportunities and implement corrective measures to boost product quality and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality challenges and promote continuous improvement strategies.
- Develop and facilitate training programs to enhance quality awareness and competencies among manufacturing personnel.
- This includes maintaining the control plan and FMEAs.
- Track and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and report on quality metrics and process performance.
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related discipline.
- Possess 3-5 years of experience in quality control and assurance within an automotive manufacturing context.
- Have a strong understanding of quality management systems and standards (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing).
- Exhibit excellent problem-solving and root cause analysis capabilities.
- Be proficient in quality tools and methodologies such as FMEA, Control Plans, SPC, 8D, 5Why, 5S, Poke-yoke, etc.
- Demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence and drive sustainable change.
- Previous experience in leading quality processes within the automotive sector, ideally as a tier 1 supplier.
- Comprehensive knowledge of automotive quality standards such as ISO/TS 16949.
- Experience in conducting internal/external audits and managing interdepartmental relationships.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis and data-driven decision-making to enhance manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with advanced quality concepts like APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and DFSR.
