About the position:

At Boston Scientific, our innovative products and technologies are designed to diagnose or treat a variety of medical conditions. Within the Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) sector, we deliver solutions for managing irregular heart rhythms and heart failure while safeguarding against sudden cardiac arrest. In this position, you will be responsible for marketing and selling our products in the Rhythm Management division across a designated geographic area by cultivating new client relationships and enhancing the utilization of our products among existing clients to achieve sales targets aligned with corporate objectives and to directly boost the company's revenue.

Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Conducting sales activities by arranging meetings with current and prospective clients to achieve the company's revenue and unit growth targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Formulating and executing sales strategies by assessing relevant factors (e.g., product offerings, competition, and pricing requirements) of existing and potential clients to effectively promote the company's products to appropriate hospital staff and medical professionals.
  • Identifying the needs (e.g., product and pricing), objectives, product usage, and types of cases managed by specific clients through in-depth discussions with physicians and hospital staff to determine which Boston Scientific products can best meet their specific requirements.
  • Addressing customer inquiries and concerns regarding products and services by devising innovative and practical solutions or collaborating with other relevant personnel (e.g., clinical research, pricing, and/or marketing) to develop optimal responses.
  • Building relationships with hospital staff (e.g., through informal discussions, meetings, participation in conferences) to establish new contacts in other hospital departments and identify key decision-makers for future sales opportunities.
  • Instructing clients on the advantages and proper clinical application of our products by delivering presentations and demonstrations using various formats and platforms (e.g., slides, transparencies, manuals) to secure purchasing commitments, often supported by incentive programs and services available to the developing account.
  • Overseeing territory resources for clinical support in areas such as device implant coverage, basic troubleshooting, programming, and patient follow-up for company products. Participating in device implants in hospital labs and operating rooms and conducting patient follow-ups to ensure customer and patient satisfaction with the implanted products.
What we seek in you:

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in clinical/sales.
  • A minimum of 2+ years of experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, or related sales (direct selling experience to physicians and hospitals) with active IBHRE certification.
  • Availability for rotational on-call duties on a 24/7/365 basis with a sales team.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours and complete an extensive training program.
