Responsibilities:

  • Engage in outbound prospecting for new business-to-business (B2B) opportunities.
  • Identify and assess prospects regarding budget, authority, need, and timing.
  • Represent the company at industry events and associations as assigned.
  • Build business and social relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Deliver oral and written presentations to potential clients, outlining the equipment and services proposed by Low Voltage Contractors, both in-person and via webinars.
  • Prepare detailed proposals for all systems and services offered and assist in contract preparation.
  • Negotiate and finalize contracts with potential clients.
  • Document activities promptly and thoroughly in SalesForce CRM.
  • Maintain accurate and timely updates in CRM/pipeline regarding qualified leads.
  • Provide weekly/monthly reports on territory or vertical progress and accurate business forecasts.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to promote the complete range of products and services offered by Low Voltage Contractors.

Qualifications:

  • Must possess technical expertise and the ability to design and demonstrate the value of integrated solutions with a focus on recurring revenue services tailored to customer needs.
  • Self-motivated individual capable of working efficiently.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to apply tact, diplomacy, and logic while working with diverse groups.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage with a variety of audiences.
  • Ability to compose proposals, business plans, and general correspondence.
  • Skilled in effectively presenting information and addressing inquiries from clients and the public.
  • Capable of interpreting blueprints (floor plans, riser diagrams) and various forms of information presented in written, oral, diagram, or schedule formats.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and quick to learn internal software (CRM) and other sales tools.
  • Possess a valid state driver's license, appropriate automobile registration, and proof of personal automobile liability insurance.
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in management, marketing, or sales is preferred.
  • A minimum of four years of experience in the security industry is preferred.
  • Experience in managed security services sales is preferred.
