Position Summary:

This position is pivotal in delivering business-specific outcomes for a designated division or across several divisions. You will take charge of reporting on the profitability and balance sheets pertinent to your divisions.

Your role will involve providing expert support and guidance to colleagues on complex issues, establishing yourself as a specialist within your business division and managing higher-level accounting responsibilities.

Collaboration is key; you will ensure that a high-quality service is extended to key business partners and the group through effective teamwork.

Additionally, you will support the annual statutory audit process and ensure compliance with all relevant processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, reconcile, and analyze aspects of the monthly Management Accounts for specific product areas, potentially spanning multiple divisions.
  • Reconcile revenue with business information and explanations, ensuring alignment between the accounting system and SAP.
  • Conduct WIP analysis, product costing, and provisions (e.g., stock).
  • Understand and apply key drivers impacting monthly Management Accounting reports in your practices.
  • Assist in producing financial analyses.
  • Calculate royalties, profit shares, and commissions.
  • Determine bad debt provisions, accruals, and prepayments.
  • Analyze and resolve ad hoc issues using your business and systems knowledge.
  • Support ad hoc duties as required, including covering workloads in other teams.
  • Process intercompany transactions and check sub-ledgers from internal departments.
  • Liaise with Finance Operations and Cash Operations for reconciliation inquiries.
  • Manage asset capitalization and depreciation processes.
  • Perform reconciliations of balance sheet accounts.
  • Publish financial results in SAP FC.
  • Engage in budgeting, forecasting, modeling, and analysis of direct cost bases and divisional recharges (specific to Global Support team).
  • Fulfill Tax & Compliance duties as required by your Shared Service Center.
Qualifications:

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Comprehensive understanding of R2R processes within your area.
  • Proficient knowledge of the SAP system.
  • Familiarity with best practices in an R2R environment.
  • Recognized qualification or Accounting degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting experience.

  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
