Job Overview:
As a Bilingual Property Operations Coordinator, you will play a vital role in managing the daily functions and upkeep of our properties while ensuring effective communication with Spanish-speaking tenants and stakeholders.
Your responsibilities will encompass tenant engagement, maintenance oversight, and the seamless operation of our property portfolio.Work Schedule: 9 am to 5 pm (EST)
Key Responsibilities:
Tenant Engagement:
Act as the main liaison for tenants, addressing questions, concerns, and requests in a timely and professional manner.
Conduct routine property evaluations and ensure tenant adherence to lease agreements and community standards.
Facilitate communication with Spanish-speaking tenants, offering assistance and support as necessary.
Lease Administration:
Manage lease documentation, including renewals, rent collection, and enforcement of lease terms.
Coordinate lease signings and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately.
Assist Spanish-speaking tenants with inquiries and negotiations related to leases.
Maintenance Oversight:
Organize maintenance and repair tasks, including scheduling and supervising service providers and contractors.
Respond swiftly to maintenance requests from tenants, prioritizing and resolving issues efficiently.
Conduct regular assessments to identify maintenance requirements and ensure property compliance.
Financial Oversight:
Develop and manage property budgets, ensuring expenses remain controlled and within financial limits.
Monitor rent payments and delinquencies, taking appropriate actions to address arrears and minimize losses.
Assist with financial reporting and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
Compliance and Risk Management:
Ensure adherence to local housing regulations, fair housing laws, and safety standards.
Implement risk management strategies to reduce liability and safeguard the interests of property owners.
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to property management activities.
Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience in property management, with proven bilingual communication skills (English and Spanish).
Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities, capable of effectively engaging with diverse tenant populations.
Proficient in property management software, including Rent Manager, Quickbooks, Google Sheets, and Microsoft Excel.
Familiarity with local housing laws, regulations, and market trends.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
