IT Program Management Specialist

Position Overview: Core Technology Solutions is in search of a qualified IT Program Manager with a Scrum Master certification to oversee critical projects aimed at enhancing the organization's security posture, particularly in the realms of anti-phishing and cybersecurity initiatives.
Work Arrangement: This role is classified as a HYBRID position, necessitating one day of onsite presence per week. Candidates must be local or within a reasonable commuting distance and be willing to travel to the office as required.
Eligibility: Candidates must possess US Authorized Worker Status (either US Citizen or Green Card holder). This is a long-term contract position under W2 terms; please note that C2C or third-party candidates will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the overall coordination, reporting, and stability of project-related activities.
- Manage multiple projects of varying complexity, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Implement project management methodologies to guarantee timely delivery, adherence to budget constraints, and high-quality standards.
- Continuously monitor project plans and resource allocations, addressing any functional or quality issues that arise.
- Track significant project milestones and adjust plans as necessary to accommodate evolving project needs.
- Lead projects from initial conception through to successful business acceptance and implementation.
- Provide mentorship to other project leaders and contribute to the training and development of team members.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree, or equivalent work experience, complemented by at least 7 years of IT leadership experience, including 4 years managing multiple concurrent project teams.
- Certification as a Scrum Master.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and various project management tools.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging with all levels of management and team members.
- Strong leadership capabilities in both team and project settings.
- Exceptional problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with a keen analytical mindset and attention to detail.
- Thorough understanding of project management principles, information systems, and business processes.
- Proven ability to manage resources effectively to achieve project goals across multiple initiatives.
- Advanced negotiation skills and experience in preparing and delivering presentations to senior management.
- Demonstrated capability to oversee all phases of project work from inception to completion, with strategic thinking skills that drive success.
