Job Overview

Position Summary:


Xyntek Incorporated, a CXV Global Company, is in search of proactive student engineers who thrive in organizing, strategizing, and enhancing processes to become part of our dynamic industrial automation services and solutions teams.

As a Project Engineering Intern, you will be instrumental in aiding the planning, execution, and oversight of engineering initiatives focused on machine vision and barcode inspection systems utilized by leading shipping companies.

Your collaboration with experienced engineers and project leaders will be vital in ensuring that projects are delivered punctually, within defined parameters, and in alignment with quality benchmarks.

Primary Responsibilities:

-Project Assistance:

  • Contribute to the formulation of project plans, timelines, and resource distribution.
  • Facilitate the coordination of engineering teams, ensuring adherence to project goals.
  • Track project advancements and communicate key performance metrics (KPIs) to senior project leaders.
  • Assist in the compilation of project documentation, including technical specifications, reports, and presentations.
-Communication & Coordination:

  • Serve as a point of contact among various departments, including engineering, procurement, and manufacturing, to guarantee smooth project execution.
  • Engage in project meetings and relay updates to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support client communications, including status reports, feedback, and resolution of issues.
-Risk Management:

  • Assist in identifying and evaluating potential risks to project timelines and deliverables.
  • Help develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks and minimize project disruptions.
-Quality Assurance:

  • Collaborate with the quality assurance team to ensure all project outputs meet company standards and client expectations.
  • Participate in project evaluations and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
-On-Site Support:

  • Provide on-site assistance during critical project implementations, including installation, testing, and commissioning of automation systems.
  • Help troubleshoot and resolve any technical challenges that arise throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Strong organizational capabilities with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Basic knowledge of project management principles and tools (e.g., Gantt charts, scheduling software).

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
  • Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) is advantageous.
  • Able to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
