Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Software Developer Intern to join our Software Asset Management team. As a Software Developer Intern, you will be responsible for integrating applications/APIs with web services, developing applications using modern cloud technologies, and managing individual tasks, priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

  • Integrate applications/APIs with web services
  • Develop applications using SAP Fiori, ABAP on Cloud
  • Write and test code, debug programs
  • Create reports using Python or Java or SAP Analytics cloud
  • Manage individual tasks, priorities, deadlines, and deliverables
  • Develop applications using modern cloud technologies

Requirements

  • Graduate student who is studying or has studied Computer Science – CPT or OPT
  • Approval to work Full-time (40 hours a week)
  • Be onsite for at least three days a week
  • Strong programming skills in JAVA, JavaScript or NodeJS (mandatory skill)
  • Strong programming skills in ABAP (mandatory skill)
  • 2-3 years demonstrated meaningful work experience as a professional front-end software engineer (Preferred Skill)
  • Knowledge of SCRUM and Agile (Preferred Skill)
  • Any knowledge/experience in SAP Finance and SAP S4-HANA (nice to have)

The SW Asset Management Organization (SAM) focus on managing the E2E process lifecycle of 3rd Party Software Licensing globally. As a developer in the SAM Tools and Data Management team, you are responsible for supporting the success of the SAM organization by managing the continuous improvements and transformation of all applications and systems which facilitate business operations.
