As an Engineering Project Coordinator Intern, you will be instrumental in aiding the planning, execution, and oversight of engineering initiatives related to machine vision and barcode inspection systems utilized by leading logistics companies worldwide.

You will collaborate closely with experienced engineers and project leaders to guarantee that projects are finalized punctually, within defined parameters, and in compliance with quality benchmarks.

Core Responsibilities:

-Project Assistance:

  • Help in formulating project strategies, timelines, and resource distribution.
  • Support the alignment of engineering teams with project goals.
  • Track project advancement and communicate key performance metrics (KPIs) to senior project leaders.
  • Contribute to the creation of project documentation, including technical specifications, reports, and presentations.
-Communication & Coordination:

  • Serve as a conduit between different departments, including engineering, procurement, and manufacturing, to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Engage in project discussions and relay updates to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist in managing client interactions, including status reports, feedback, and issue resolution.
-Risk Management:

  • Support the identification and evaluation of potential risks to project timelines and deliverables.
  • Assist in crafting and executing risk mitigation strategies to minimize project interruptions.
-Quality Assurance:

  • Collaborate with the quality assurance team to ensure that all project outputs meet organizational standards and client expectations.
  • Participate in project evaluations and contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives.
-On-Site Support:

  • Provide on-site assistance during critical project implementations, including installation, testing, and commissioning of automation systems.
  • Help troubleshoot and resolve any technical challenges that arise throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Strong organizational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple responsibilities and deadlines.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Basic knowledge of project management principles and tools (e.g., Gantt charts, scheduling software).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
  • Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) is advantageous.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
