About the Role

We are seeking candidates with a minimum of 5 years of experience in heavy equipment mechanics. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working outdoors and willing to travel as required. If you are a dedicated worker who enjoys the outdoors and values teamwork, this position is an excellent fit for you. Please note that a drug screen, physical examination, and criminal background check will be part of the hiring process.

Key Responsibilities and Qualifications

As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, you will:

  • Diagnose, adjust, repair, or overhaul mobile mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment such as cranes, bulldozers, graders, and conveyors used in construction.
  • Be prepared to travel within designated regions.
  • Bring a strong mechanical background and relevant experience with machinery; while certifications are not required, a passion for mechanics is essential.
  • Possess knowledge of LMI and its application in crane operations.
  • Have welding or fabrication skills and a basic understanding of electrical systems and hydraulics.
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills and a positive attitude to collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot equipment based on standard operating procedures and comprehend technical manuals.
  • Be willing to work overtime as necessary, especially for critical projects.
  • Be comfortable working at heights up to 150 feet on tower cranes in various weather conditions.

We provide a company service truck and specialty tools as needed. Candidates must have their own tools and take pride in maintaining a clean and functional work environment.
