Job Summary

Custom Truck One Source is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing electrical, hydraulic, or powertrain-related issues on construction equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and diagnose equipment issues to determine the root cause of the problem
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on a variety of heavy equipment, including cranes, boom lifts, and trucks
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals and repair orders to perform required maintenance and service
  • Verify work performed and road test vehicles as necessary
  • Prepare inspection reports, repair orders, and time cards completely and accurately
  • Tag all warranty and core parts for return
  • Advises management immediately if additional work is needed or if repairs cannot be completed within the time promised
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3+ years of utility truck maintenance and repair experience
  • Must have tools
  • Current CDL preferred, but will train the right candidate
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proven commitment to safety
