Technical Support Specialist

Routeware is a leading provider of software and data analysis solutions for waste and recycling programs. We're seeking a skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team in Portland, Oregon.

Job Summary

The Technical Support Specialist will serve as the first point of contact for clients seeking assistance with our software. This role requires strong initiative, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to juggle competing priorities.

Responsibilities
  • Handle support calls from customers and take ownership of customer issues reported
  • Research, diagnose, and troubleshoot system and hardware issues
  • Escalate unresolved issues to internal teams
  • Prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Contribute to user documentation and support knowledgebase
  • Assist with customer upgrades and device configurations
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Associate's degree preferred
  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Flexibility and willingness to work on a variety of projects
  • Experience with SQL, SQL Server administration, and mobile device management a plus
