PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee landscape architecture projects from initial design concepts through to construction administration, including the management of consultants and production teams.

Take charge of the production, organization, coordination, and accuracy of all project presentations and documentation.

Exercise independent judgment and discretion in carrying out responsibilities.


Manage multiple projects at different stages of development concurrently, collaborating with the principal team to maintain design integrity and visual consistency.

Facilitate communication and coordination among project team members, clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory officials.

Oversee project timelines, workflows, and anticipate staffing needs.

Review project budgets and provide updates on project progress to the administrative team.

Collaborate with the project team to create presentation materials for client and agency meetings.

Research and specify materials, products, and systems.

Attend on-site meetings, issue supplemental instructions, and review submissions and shop drawings during the construction phase.

Mentor and guide junior staff, sharing knowledge and experiences to enhance the firm’s collective expertise.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Landscape Architecture or Architecture.

Licensure as a Landscape Architect is preferred (California license is a plus, but not mandatory).

Authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship now or in the future.


A minimum of 5 years of project management experience in a similar capacity at a comparable firm.

Demonstrated ability to document and detail projects from inception to completion.

Knowledge of California Native and Mediterranean plants and planting design is advantageous.

Training in horticulture and familiarity with industry best practices regarding planting is a plus.
