Position Title: Senior Technical Project Coordinator

Location: North Kansas City

Work Environment: Initially fully onsite for the first 60-90 days, transitioning to a hybrid schedule as approved by management.

Role Overview: The Senior Technical Project Coordinator will oversee and implement a variety of technically intricate projects within our healthcare organization. This position demands a candidate with substantial technical knowledge, capable of managing the technical components of projects, offering architectural direction, and confirming the technical viability of project strategies. The ideal candidate should be exceptionally organized, adept at juggling multiple projects concurrently, and proficient in driving projects to successful completion within budgetary and time constraints. Familiarity with Microsoft Teams for collaboration is essential, while experience with ServiceNow is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Planning and Oversight: Develop comprehensive technical project plans and diagrams, encompassing system architecture, design specifications, and integration strategies. Provide architectural direction and technical support to the team.
  • Project Management: Assess and manage project queues, grasping project scope, stakeholders, effort levels, and key contacts. Propel projects to successful completion within established budgets and timelines.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Infrastructure and Asset Management Teams to ensure project alignment and integration. Utilize Microsoft Teams for effective communication and project oversight.
  • Technical Guidance: Confirm the technical feasibility of projects, tackle technical challenges, and engage in technical discussions and decision-making.
  • Adaptability: Support and adjust to cultural transformations within the department.
  • Multi-Project Management: Prioritize, organize, and oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Lean Methodologies: Implement Lean principles to enhance processes and boost project efficiency.
  • Proficient in Visio: Employ Microsoft Visio to document current processes and create future state diagrams.
  • Documentation and Development: Record current processes and lead the development of future processes with stakeholders.
  • Performance Metrics: Identify and establish key performance indicators for project success, including cost savings, staff time, and other relevant metrics.

Qualifications:

  • Education: A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Experience: Demonstrated experience as a Senior Technical Project Coordinator, ideally in a healthcare context. Strong technical knowledge in relevant fields (e.g., software development, IT infrastructure, engineering).
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Teams (MUST be capable of using this tool). Experience with ServiceNow is advantageous. Ability to create detailed technical project plans and diagrams. Proficiency in Microsoft Visio.
  • Project Management Skills: Proven ability to evaluate project queues and manage project details effectively. Strong organizational and prioritization skills. PMP or similar project management certification is required.
  • Communication: Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to comprehend and contribute to technical discussions and decision-making.
  • Healthcare Experience: Experience in the healthcare industry is preferred but not mandatory for strong candidates. Previous experience in a technical environment specific to healthcare operations is a bonus.
  • Specialized Experience: Experience with Data Center Migration and onboarding new facilities/clinics is a bonus.
  • Lean Methodologies: Familiarity with Lean methodologies and principles.

Preferred Experience:

  • Healthcare Technology Projects: Understanding of the specific challenges and requirements of healthcare technology projects.
  • Technical Environment: Previous experience in a technical environment specific to healthcare operations.
