Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Architect to join our Buildings + Places practice in Kansas City, MO. The successful candidate will coordinate a team effort to deliver various sized projects through diverse design and construction phases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Communicate with the Project Manager on project workplan, deliverables and schedule.
  • Ensure communication between project management, project team, consultants and Client.
  • Promote project delivery through architectural guidance and technically feasible solutions.
  • Foster professional development and mentorship for emerging professionals.

Requirements

  • BA/BS in Architecture or related field + 6 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
  • Licensed Architect.
  • Experience with Bluebeam, Navisworks and Dynamo.
  • Proficiency with Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Ability to meet quality, schedule and budget expectations.
  • Desire to be mentored by leadership and provide mentorship to junior staff.
  • Detail-oriented and technical, yet experienced enough to see the big picture.
  • Must be a highly motivated self-starter with solid writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and lead large groups of technical-minded people with minimal oversight.
  • Ability to multi-task and be flexible and able to adapt to rapidly changing project requirements and deadlines.
  • Ability to apply passion and enthusiasm for design in a collaborative and progressive team-oriented work environment.
