Patient Access Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Access Coordinator to join our team at Ellis Medicine. As a Patient Access Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth flow of patients through our facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient registration interviews to gather demographic and financial information
- Verify insurance coverage and collect co-payments or self-pay
- Accurately record patient information and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless patient flow
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred
- One year of related experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) or Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) preferred
