Job Summary:

The Scheduling Coordinator will be responsible for scheduling and coordinating home care visits, including participant and home health aide schedules. This role requires strong communication and customer service skills to maintain good relationships with Homecare staff, participants, nursing staff, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to multitask, utilize computer systems, and ensure that aide services are scheduled as ordered by physicians and authorized by the patient/insurer. This is a part-time position that requires a high school diploma and strong organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Schedule home care visits for participants and home health aides

Maintain good communication with Homecare staff, participants, nursing staff, and other members of the interdisciplinary team

Ensure that aide services are scheduled as ordered by physicians and authorized by the patient/insurer

Utilize computer systems to manage schedules and coordinate care

Requirements:

High school diploma

Ability to multitask and utilize computer systems

Strong communication and customer service skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
