Job Title: Healthcare Professional - Telehealth Support

STGi is seeking a skilled Healthcare Professional to provide telehealth support services at our Community Based Outpatient Clinic. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in coordinating and scheduling clinical care via telehealth, ensuring seamless interactions between patients and providers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Primary Telehealth Clinical Technician in performing telehealth imaging and telehealth visits.
  • Exercise judgment to perceive patient needs and evaluate clinical records to determine appropriateness of telehealth requests.
  • Document clinical information in electronic medical records daily, with minimal errors.
  • Coordinate with Primary TCT to open the telehealth patient room, readies the equipment for the examination, training, education, access, and establishes the online, video conferencing or other connections.
  • Assist Primary TCT in scheduling, confirming and coordinating telehealth services of inpatients and outpatients to/from VISN to VISN, Facility to Facility, CBOC to CBOC etc., private facilities including nursing homes, hospitals and clinics.

Requirements:

  • Retain current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Medical assistant certification or LPN/LVN in the state of New York.
  • High school diploma or GED
  • US Citizen.

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:

  • Moderate physical activity. Requires handling of average-weight objects up to 25 pounds or standing and/or walking for more than four (4) hours per day.
  • Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
  • Required to respond to any medical emergency within the clinic, where a fast walk or job may be necessary to provide assistance.
