Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently manage the check-in and check-out processes for guests.
- Handle all payment transactions in accordance with established protocols.
- Greet guests warmly and professionally.
- Register guests, distribute room keys, and provide comprehensive information about hotel amenities and room locations.
- Answer phone calls promptly and courteously.
- Promote room upgrades to enhance hotel revenue.
- Process credit card transactions accurately, adhering to established guidelines.
- Communicate any guest requests or issues to management for further action.
- Address guest complaints effectively.
- Direct guest inquiries to the appropriate departments or services.
- Implement service recovery strategies to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Assist with booking reservations for guests via phone or in-person.
- Manage cancellations, modifications, and updates to reservations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Log incoming packages and mail, notifying guests promptly.
- Act as an Ambassador for our loyalty program, facilitating sign-ups, benefits, and point redemption.
- Maintain awareness of your work schedule and adhere to it reliably.
- Foster teamwork and collaboration at all times.
- Keep your workspace clean, organized, and presentable.
- Utilize protective equipment as necessary.
- Promote the hotel through positive interactions and a courteous demeanor.
- Commit to continuous learning and personal growth in your role.
- Follow hotel policies, procedures, and grooming standards diligently.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience in Front Desk or Guest Services within a hotel or resort setting is preferred.
- A flexible schedule is essential; availability for various shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English is necessary; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous.
- Ability to comprehend and respond to guests' service needs.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain focus while multitasking.
- Attention to detail is crucial.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues as part of a team.
