Job Overview

RER Solutions, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Junior Systems Program Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in supporting the Office of Clean Energy Demonstrations (OCED) in delivering clean energy demonstration projects at scale.

Key Responsibilities
  • Database Development: Research and recommend new databases to support the OCED's mission. Create models for building databases and code Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) databases.
  • Database Administration: Integrate or consolidate existing databases or infrastructure, and check for errors or inefficiencies. Identify user needs to create and administer databases.
  • Database Security: Ensure that organizational data are secure and backup and restore data to prevent data loss.
  • Database Optimization: Ensure that databases operate efficiently and without error. Make and test modifications to database structure when needed.
Requirements
  • Citizenship: Minimum of US Citizenship required to obtain client-issued Public Trust.
  • Experience: 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Clean Energy Experience: Experience in Clean Energy desired.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail, and an understanding of fundamental business writing.
  • Technical Skills: Expertise in Microsoft Office Products (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
