Job Description:

The Olympia School District is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality health care services to students with special needs. As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the physical and emotional well-being of our students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer specialized treatment, medication, and first aid as needed to provide appropriate care for students with special needs.
  • Record and maintain accurate medical records related to student health care plans.
  • Plan, organize, and implement health-related activities for students with special needs.
  • Communicate effectively with certificated staff, school nurses, and parents regarding student care and medical needs.
  • Assist certificated staff and therapists in providing selected activities to students, including academic, self-help, social, motor, or life skills.
  • Travel in-district to assist in programs at other locations as requested by the Student Support Office.
Requirements:
  • Prior job-related experience.
  • LPN license.
  • Criminal Justice Fingerprint Clearance.
  • Standard First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certificates may be required.
