Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Professional School Mental Health Specialist to join our team at ProCare Therapy in Somerville, MA.

About the Role:

  • This is a full-time contract position primarily focused on testing with potential maternity leave coverage starting in May.
  • The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1+ years of experience as a school psychologist and be able to work effectively across multiple school sites.
Responsibilities and Duties

As a Professional School Mental Health Specialist with ProCare Therapy, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments and testing for students
  • Providing mental health support and interventions to students and staff
  • Collaborating with teachers and other educators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Communicating effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress
Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
  • Valid licensure as a school psychologist in the state of Massachusetts
  • A minimum of 1+ years of experience working as a school psychologist
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • An ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
