Mental Health Care Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Care Specialist to join our team at Mass General Brigham. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support in a fast-paced mental health setting.
This is a full-time position working 32 hours per week, with flexible scheduling options available.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will work closely with our registered nurses and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care and support.
Responsibilities will include:
- Providing direct patient care and support in a therapeutic milieu
- Assisting with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
- Documenting patient information accurately and efficiently
- Participating in patient rounds and teams to ensure comprehensive care
- Developing and implementing individualized care plans to meet patient needs
You will also have the opportunity to work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to promote patient-centered care and improve outcomes.
RequirementsTo be considered for this role, you will need:
- A High School diploma or equivalent required; preferably two years of college plus one year of clinical experience
- Verbal and written communication skills, and ability to work in collaboration with others
- Previous experience in direct patient care preferred
Additionally, you will need to possess basic computer skills and be able to use electronic medical records systems.
BenefitsWe offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and employee assistance programs.
