">Job Summary
">We are seeking an experienced Mental Health Care Specialist to join our team at Arlington, Massachusetts. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will play a vital role in providing direct patient care and participating in therapeutic milieu.
">Job Responsibilities

- Provide direct patient care, including accurate and timely documentation of AFS, progress notes, and observation sheets.">
- Maintain professional boundaries and establish therapeutic relationships with patients.">
- Participate in patient rounds or teams and complete patient care assignments.">
- Identify patient behaviors that contribute to the development of a crisis; utilize non-verbal and verbal techniques to de-escalate crisis situations.">
- Communicate changes in patient status to RN and follow Standards of Care and protocols for assigned patients.">
Requirements
">To be successful in this role, you must have:

- A High School diploma or GED required.">
- Prefer two years of college plus one year of clinical experience, preferably in a psychiatric setting.">
- Licensure: N/A">
- Verbal and written communication skills, and ability to work in collaboration with others.">
- Previous experience in direct patient care preferred.">
