Job Overview
As a vital member of the BCP Maintenance team, the Electrical Engineer III oversees the design and implementation of new or replacement electrical and automation systems. This role is essential in establishing standards for reliability and formulating guidelines for engineering and maintenance activities related to these systems. The engineer ensures that engineering schematics and technical documentation are consistently updated for the identified equipment.

Key Responsibilities
The Engineer III is tasked with managing daily maintenance operations for equipment and systems under their purview. Additionally, they may be called upon to assist with other maintenance tasks during equipment failures, production halts, or scheduled maintenance periods.

Core Focus Areas:
1. Identify and implement enhancements to process equipment using a reliability-centered maintenance approach.
2. Lead the design and execution of electrical projects and initiatives within the facility.
3. Develop comprehensive shutdown work plans for electrical equipment upgrades.
4. Ensure that engineering schematics, maintenance protocols, and technical data are current.
5. Provide guidance to maintenance personnel and contracted labor.
6. Support the optimization of electrical spare parts inventory, establish efficient supply agreements, and reduce stock holding expenses.
7. Create and manage training programs for maintenance staff that pertain to operations, maintenance, and safety.
8. Serve as a subject matter expert on electrical safety throughout the facility.
9. Contribute to root cause analysis for equipment failures and implement measures to prevent recurrence.
10. Assist with various maintenance activities across BCP as needed.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
- 5 years of experience in an electrical engineering capacity
- 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance engineering

Preferred Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance engineering
- Experience in heavy manufacturing with a focus on automation project implementation that achieves cost-effective and performance-driven results.
- Project management experience.
