Position Summary:
The Engineer III plays a pivotal role within the BCP Maintenance team, overseeing the design and implementation of new electrical and automation systems. This position is crucial for establishing reliability standards and maintaining up-to-date engineering documentation for all relevant equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive improvements in process equipment through a reliability-centered maintenance approach.
  • Lead the planning and execution of electrical projects and initiatives within the facility.
  • Create comprehensive shutdown plans for electrical upgrades.
  • Ensure that engineering drawings and maintenance documentation are current and accurate.
  • Guide maintenance personnel and oversee contract labor as needed.
  • Optimize inventory levels for electrical spare parts and manage supply contracts effectively.
  • Design and implement training programs for maintenance staff focused on operations, maintenance, and safety protocols.
  • Act as the electrical safety expert for the facility.
  • Participate in root cause analysis for equipment failures and implement preventive measures.
  • Support various maintenance activities across the organization as required.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • A minimum of 5 years in an electrical engineering capacity.
  • At least 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance engineering.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience specifically in industrial maintenance engineering.
  • Experience in heavy manufacturing with a focus on automation project implementation.
  • Project management experience is advantageous.
