Position Summary:

The Engineer III role is integral to our maintenance team, focusing on the design and installation of electrical and automation systems. This position is pivotal in developing reliability standards and guidelines for engineering and maintenance activities, ensuring that all technical documentation is current and accurate.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive improvements in process equipment by applying reliability-centered maintenance strategies.
  • Lead the planning and execution of electrical projects within the facility.
  • Create comprehensive shutdown plans for electrical system upgrades.
  • Maintain up-to-date engineering drawings and maintenance protocols.
  • Guide maintenance personnel and oversee contract labor as necessary.
  • Optimize inventory levels of electrical spare parts and establish efficient supply agreements.
  • Design and implement training programs for maintenance staff focusing on operations, maintenance, and safety.
  • Act as the electrical safety expert throughout the facility.
  • Participate in root cause analysis for equipment failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Assist with various maintenance tasks across the organization as needed.
Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • A minimum of 5 years in an electrical engineering capacity.
  • At least 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance engineering.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience specifically in industrial maintenance engineering.
  • Experience in heavy manufacturing with a focus on automation project implementation and successful outcomes.
  • Project management experience is a plus.
