Position Summary:
The Engineer III role within the BCP Maintenance team is pivotal in overseeing the design and installation of new or replacement electrical and automation systems. This position is also responsible for establishing reliability standards and guidelines for engineering and maintenance activities related to this equipment, ensuring that all engineering documentation and technical specifications are current.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and implement enhancements to process equipment using a reliability-centered maintenance approach.
  • Lead the design and execution of electrical projects and initiatives throughout the facility.
  • Develop comprehensive shutdown work plans for upgrades to electrical systems.
  • Maintain up-to-date engineering drawings, maintenance protocols, and technical documentation.
  • Provide guidance to maintenance personnel and contract labor.
  • Optimize electrical spare parts inventory, establish efficient supply agreements, and reduce holding costs.
  • Design and implement training programs for maintenance staff focusing on operations, maintenance, and safety.
  • Act as the subject matter expert for electrical safety across the facility.
  • Contribute to root cause analysis for equipment failures and implement strategies to prevent recurrence.
  • Assist with various maintenance tasks across BCP as necessary.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in an electrical engineering capacity.
  • At least 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance engineering.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance engineering.
  • Experience in heavy manufacturing with a focus on automation project implementation, achieving successful cost and performance results.
  • Project management experience.
