Job Summary

The Slabe Machine Products, Co. is seeking a skilled Preventative Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our CNC machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preventative Maintenance: Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules for CNC machinery and related equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
  • Equipment Inspection: Regularly inspect the condition of equipment and perform necessary maintenance according to warranty agreements, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Parts Replacement: Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager to replace defective parts as needed, ensuring minimal disruption to production.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Maintenance Manager to coordinate repairs and maintenance activities, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, and equipment performance, providing valuable insights for future improvements.
  • Utility Equipment Maintenance: Maintain utility equipment such as AC units, compressors, and bay doors, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Building Maintenance: Perform routine building maintenance tasks, including cleaning, snow removal, and repairs, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Safety and Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and orderly workstation, adhering to all safety guidelines and protocols.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education or certifications in CNC maintenance is preferred.
  • Experience: 2 years of experience in CNC equipment maintenance and repair preferred but not necessary to be considered.
  • Skills: Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; basic computer skills; strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work well under pressure.
