Key Responsibilities
  • Preventative Maintenance: Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules for CNC machinery and related equipment to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
  • Equipment Inspection: Regularly inspect equipment to identify potential issues and perform necessary maintenance to prevent equipment failure.
  • Parts Replacement: Work with the Maintenance Manager to replace defective parts as needed to ensure minimal downtime.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager to coordinate repairs and maintenance activities.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of work orders, maintenance activities, and equipment performance.
  • Utility Equipment Maintenance: Maintain utility equipment such as AC units, compressors, and bay doors, and coordinate with contractors for repairs and quotes.
  • Building Maintenance: Perform routine building maintenance tasks, including cleaning the shop floor, snow removal, and replacing lights.
  • Safety and Cleanliness: Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following all safety guidelines and protocols.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education or certifications in CNC maintenance is preferred.
  • Experience: 2 years of experience in CNC equipment maintenance and repair preferred but not necessary to be considered.
  • Skills: Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; basic computer skills; strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work well under pressure; physical ability to lift moderate to heavy objects and stand or walk for most of the shift.
