Key Responsibilities:
  • Research industry trends and related events, participating in trade shows and conferences to identify innovative ideas.
  • Explore potential business opportunities by engaging with prospective partners.
  • Reach out to both existing and potential customers to showcase services and explain their features.
  • Advise customers on products and services tailored to their needs and interests.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Accounting, Materials, and Production teams to provide accurate customer quotes, warranties, contract terms, and delivery timelines.
  • Analyze market trends, product innovations, and competitor offerings, including pricing and sales strategies.
  • Assess customer preferences to refine sales strategies.
  • Work alongside sales teams to understand customer requirements and enhance product sales.
  • Coordinate with customers, suppliers, and internal departments to resolve customer issues effectively.
  • Engage with customers via phone, email, or in-person to provide comprehensive information about our offerings.
  • Generate weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports detailing parts usage for customers.
  • Identify new revenue opportunities and avenues for improved service.
  • Safeguard the organization's integrity by maintaining confidentiality.
  • Enhance job knowledge through educational opportunities and networking.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and wear personal protective equipment in designated areas.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Preferred: BS/BA in Business Administration, Industrial Technology, or a related field.
  • Two to four years of prior sales experience.
  • Two to four years of successful experience in customer relations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional demeanor and confidence in diverse settings.
  • Ability to manage relationships effectively in a team environment and with customers.
  • Commitment to the company's safety culture and operational efficiency while fostering positive relationships across the organization.
  • Effective time management and adaptability skills.
  • Reliability and responsibility in fulfilling obligations.
  • Desire to enhance personal skills through training and education.
  • Proficient in computer applications, particularly in Windows environments, including word processing, spreadsheets, and email.
  • A valid driver's license is required for travel.
