Key Responsibilities
  • Pull and install new Cat 5E/ Cat 6 cable to ensure high-speed data transmission.
  • Climb ladders at varying heights to access cable pathways and raceways.
  • Install cable pathways and raceways to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Operate basic hand tools and power tools to terminate Cat 5E/ Cat 6 cable properly.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Take direction from Lead Technicians to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Learn and apply knowledge of different types of cabling to meet client requirements.
  • Meet or exceed the minimum charge hour requirements of 1,450 hours per fiscal year.

Preferred Qualifications

Required Skills, Education, and Certifications

  • BICSI Fundamentals certification (can be completed within 90 days of hire).
