Position Overview:
As a Reservations Management Specialist, you will assist guests throughout the reservation process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a warm and friendly greeting to prospective guests over the phone, ensuring clear communication. Listen attentively to inquiries and requests, and deliver accurate information regarding availability, accommodation options, and rates.
  • Utilize a computer reservation system to input and retrieve data efficiently, ensuring all information is communicated clearly, including confirmation numbers.
  • Respond to questions about hotel amenities, local attractions, and transportation options.
  • Understand and communicate deposit and guarantee policies effectively, addressing any complaints with professionalism and seeking resolution.
  • Maintain regular attendance and be available for scheduled shifts.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests.
  • Proficient in managing customer interactions, demonstrating patience and diplomacy.
  • Ability to navigate a moderately complex computer system for data entry and retrieval.
  • Capable of building and maintaining positive relationships with colleagues and guests.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods and type at least 40 words per minute.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, adaptable to various audiences.
