Guest Services Coordinator

At Oceanskyresort, the Guest Services Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring that all visitors enjoy a welcoming and satisfying experience. This position involves managing guest interactions and addressing their needs effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

The Guest Services Coordinator serves as the initial point of contact for guests at our resort. Responsibilities include:

  • Providing detailed information about the resort's offerings and guiding guests on how to utilize various facilities.
  • Managing room bookings and confirming reservation details to ensure a seamless check-in process.
  • Staying informed about current room rates and housekeeping operations to deliver accurate information promptly.
  • Processing payments and verifying guest information to guarantee that services rendered align with customer expectations.

Additionally, the role involves:

  • Utilizing computer systems to check in guests and directing them to their accommodations.
  • Informing guests about all available amenities and any essential information for their use.
  • Addressing and resolving any guest complaints or issues that may arise during their stay.
  • Generating invoices and billing guests for their accommodations and additional services utilized.
  • Engaging with guests to better understand their unique needs and preferences, thereby enhancing their overall experience.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Computer Proficiency: A fundamental understanding of computer systems is essential for managing guest check-ins, invoicing, and online reservations.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and nonverbal communication abilities are crucial. Active listening skills will help in discerning the specific needs of each guest, while nonverbal cues can indicate guest satisfaction levels.

Customer Service Expertise: Strong customer service skills are necessary, as the Guest Services Coordinator interacts with guests during check-in, check-out, and when providing information.
