Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team at Oxbow Bar & Grill. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, ensuring that our guests receive an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and supervise a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and service.
  • Develop and implement menus, recipes, and cooking techniques to ensure consistency and quality of food.
  • Monitor and control food costs, inventory, and labor expenses to maintain profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company standards and policies.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef and other department heads to achieve business objectives and improve overall guest satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with culinary trends, techniques, and technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in a high-volume kitchen, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort setting.
  • Proven track record of success in managing a team, controlling costs, and improving guest satisfaction.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and handling procedures.
  • Ability to lift 20 lbs. or more, stand for long periods, and work in a hot kitchen environment.
