Position Overview

We are in search of a visionary and analytical Vice President of Marketing and Sales to spearhead our marketing initiatives, amplifying the presence and esteem of Approach International Student Center, Inc.. The successful candidate will possess a solid history of crafting and executing effective marketing and sales frameworks, alongside a comprehensive grasp of the distinct requirements of international students, demonstrating a dedication to fostering their development. This role will collaborate intimately with the Executive Director/CEO and the senior leadership team to enhance enrollment, boost revenue, and further the center's mission and strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Brand Development: Establish and oversee the institution's brand, ensuring alignment with its mission, vision, and values. Formulate and execute brand strategies that guarantee consistent and impactful messaging across all communication platforms, thereby enhancing the institution's reputation and visibility.

Marketing and Sales Planning: Create and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy aimed at elevating brand recognition and student enrollment, in line with the organization's mission, vision, and objectives, focusing on our ideal clientele, partners, and key stakeholders.

Digital Marketing Strategy: Design and execute a digital marketing approach to strengthen the institution's online footprint and utilize digital channels for student recruitment.

Campaign Management: Strategize, implement, and assess marketing and sales campaigns across various platforms, including digital, print, social media, and events.

Advertising Oversight: Supervise the creation of all internal and external promotional materials and marketing campaigns. Evaluate and approve advertising concepts.

Market Analysis: Conduct market analysis to pinpoint marketing opportunities and gauge consumer perceptions.

Public Relations: Act as the public representative of the institution in interviews and presentations. Cultivate and sustain advantageous public relations. Build and maintain robust relationships with key stakeholders, including students, staff, faculty, partners, funders, and community organizations.

Team Management: Recruit, lead, and nurture a high-performing marketing team, promoting a positive, inclusive, and collaborative workplace culture.

Internal Marketing Initiatives: Drive internal marketing efforts in conjunction with the human resources department to enhance organizational culture, aligning with our core beliefs, quality standards, and service values.

Performance Metrics: Monitor and evaluate marketing and sales performance metrics, refining strategies and tactics to maximize ROI and stimulate enrollment growth.

Brand Representation: Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities, advocating for the institution's programs and services.

Innovation and Quality: Stay abreast of trends, innovations, and best practices in marketing, sales, and international education, leveraging this knowledge to inform strategies and maintain a competitive advantage.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all relevant laws and regulations, surpassing accreditation standards while upholding the highest ethical standards and organizational integrity.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

A minimum of 10 years of pertinent experience, including at least 5 years in a senior marketing and sales leadership capacity within an educational institution or non-profit organization.

Demonstrated success in formulating and executing marketing and sales strategies, driving enrollment growth, increasing revenue, and preparing documentation for accreditation and re-accreditation within USCIS compliance.

Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with the capability to engage diverse audiences and forge strong relationships.

A profound understanding of the unique needs and challenges faced by international students.

A strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Proven ability to lead, inspire, and develop high-performing teams.

Familiarity with marketing, sales, and customer relationship management (CRM) tools and software.

Willingness to travel as necessary to represent the organization and cultivate strategic partnerships.
