YOUR ROLE: Insurance Solutions Specialist or Senior Insurance Advisor

This position serves as a seasoned resource, collaborating with financial professionals to identify, design, and implement tailored insurance solutions for their clientele. You will support financial professionals in making recommendations that are appropriate, suitable, and in the best interest of their clients. A comprehensive understanding of the resources available through the FIG family of companies and partner firms (such as insurance carriers) is essential. You will be part of a dedicated team that educates financial professionals and delivers exceptional support that meets or exceeds service expectations. The team’s goal is to be the premier provider of insured solutions to Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs), Broker-Dealers (BDs), and financial professionals.

This opportunity offers a unique experience to engage with various financial professionals in delivering insurance solutions to clients. We are looking for diligent, motivated, and collaborative individuals with outstanding integrity and communication skills.

YOUR IMPACT:

  • Act as an experienced insurance resource, engaging proactively and reactively with financial professionals as part of a sales desk model.
  • Quickly learn and understand complex concepts and products.
  • Educate financial professionals and clients about various insurance solutions.
  • Provide insights to financial professionals regarding sales and insurance concepts.
  • Utilize the full range of resources available at FIG to empower financial professionals.
  • Effectively communicate the FIG story and value proposition to financial professionals.
  • Deliver professional, accurate, and courteous services that align with service level expectations.
  • Accountable for meeting weekly metrics and service level standards.
  • Driven by the desire to assist clients in achieving insured outcomes.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Insurance license in your resident state – Required
  • Experience with various product lines including annuities, life insurance, disability insurance, and care planning – Preferred
  • Experience collaborating with financial professionals (RIAs, BDs, financial planners, and independent insurance agents) – Preferred
  • Demonstrated success in a team-oriented or sales desk environment.
  • Strong perseverance, a positive attitude, and the ability to handle repetitive tasks are essential for success in this role.
  • Ability to manage time effectively while working with a diverse group of advisors, including those who may be challenging.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Persistence in completing tasks and communicating effectively, recognizing that the prospect cycle may be lengthy.
  • Open to receiving direction and willing to provide constructive feedback to enhance processes.

This role offers a competitive salary along with the potential for bonuses based on the overall growth of FIG. Standard business hours are Monday to Friday (8:30 AM – 5:30 PM ET), with some flexibility for additional coverage. F.I.G. provides health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401k plan, and a generous paid time off policy.
