YOUR ROLE: Insurance Solutions Specialist or Senior Insurance Advisor
This position serves as a knowledgeable resource, collaborating with financial professionals to identify, design, and implement tailored insurance solutions for their clientele. You will assist in making recommendations that are appropriate, suitable, and prioritize the client's best interests. A solid understanding of the resources available through the FIG family of companies and partner firms (such as insurance carriers) is essential. You will be part of a dedicated team that educates financial professionals and delivers superior support that meets or exceeds service expectations. The team's goal is to be the premier provider of insured solutions to Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs), Broker-Dealers (BDs), and financial professionals.
This role offers a unique opportunity to work alongside various financial professionals to deliver effective insurance solutions to clients. We are looking for diligent, motivated team players with outstanding integrity and communication skills.
YOUR IMPACT:
- Act as an experienced insurance resource, engaging proactively and reactively with financial professionals in a sales desk model.
- Quickly learn and understand complex concepts and products.
- Educate financial professionals and clients about various insurance solutions.
- Provide insights on sales and insurance concepts to financial professionals.
- Utilize the comprehensive resources available at FIG to empower financial professionals.
- Effectively communicate the FIG story and value proposition to financial professionals.
- Deliver professional, accurate, and courteous services that align with service level expectations.
- Meet weekly and regular fast-paced metrics and service standards.
- Be motivated by the opportunity to help clients achieve insured outcomes.
WHY YOU ARE A GREAT FIT:
- Insurance license in your resident state – Required
- Experience with various product lines – annuities, life insurance, disability insurance, and care planning – Preferred
- Experience collaborating with financial professionals (RIAs, BDs, financial planners, and independent insurance agents) – Preferred
- Proven track record of success in a team-oriented or sales desk environment.
- Key strengths include perseverance, a positive attitude, and a commitment to repetition for success.
- Ability to manage time effectively while working with a diverse range of advisors, including challenging agents.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Determination in completing tasks and maintaining communication throughout the prospect cycle.
- Open to receiving direction and willing to provide constructive feedback to enhance processes.
This role offers a competitive salary along with the potential for bonuses based on overall company growth. Standard business hours are Monday to Friday (8:30 AM – 5:30 PM ET), with some flexibility for additional coverage. F.I.G. provides health, dental, and vision coverage, a 401k plan, and a generous paid time off policy.
