Warehouse and Yard Service Representative

JOB PURPOSE: To uphold the mission of Wilco by effectively delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring operational efficiency.

JOB SUMMARY: Welcome customers and assist with loading products from the warehouse, yard, and eCommerce inventory. Provide detailed product information and maintain cleanliness and organization in both warehouse and yard areas. Unload, verify, and stock merchandise in designated areas.

Responsibilities

Deliver customer service and product knowledge to patrons regarding warehouse and yard items. Safely transport and load merchandise following established standards and procedures. Maintain a secure working environment by adhering to safety protocols and wearing appropriate safety gear. Execute eCommerce operations as required by the Buy Online, Pick Up In Store (BOPIS) process. Ensure cleanliness and orderliness of the store warehouse and outdoor areas through daily recovery processes. Unload, verify, and stock merchandise in the warehouse and yard according to established guidelines. Responsible for securing merchandise in the warehouse, yard, and lot while utilizing equipment and vehicles. Keep the store adequately stocked with merchandise from the warehouse or yard. Operate forklifts and delivery vehicles safely. Assemble merchandise as directed by supervisors. Adhere to established retail standards and practices. Deliver merchandise to customers as required. Participate in merchandising, signage, and store upkeep as assigned. Maintain knowledge of Wilco's specialty accounts and offer assistance to customers as necessary. Perform additional responsibilities and tasks as assigned.

Special Skills/Training

Ability to effectively engage with customers and colleagues. Proficiency in operating a forklift and other facility equipment safely and efficiently. Valid driver's license with a clean driving history. Competence in performing basic arithmetic calculations. Skill in recognizing various products. Minimum age of 18 due to forklift operation requirements.
