Warehouse Customer Service Representative

JOB PURPOSE: To fulfill the mission of Wilco by effectively delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining operational efficiency.

JOB SUMMARY: Welcome customers and assist with loading products from the warehouse, yard, and eCommerce inventory. Provide detailed product information and ensure that both warehouse and yard areas are kept clean and organized. Unload, verify, and stock merchandise in the warehouse and yard areas.

Responsibilities

Deliver outstanding customer service and product knowledge to patrons regarding warehouse and yard items. Safely and efficiently handle the loading and transportation of merchandise in accordance with established protocols. Maintain a secure working environment by adhering to safety guidelines and wearing appropriate safety gear. Carry out eCommerce tasks as required by the Buy Online, Pick Up In Store (BOPIS) process. Ensure cleanliness and orderliness of the store's warehouse and outdoor areas through daily recovery procedures. Unload, check, and stock merchandise in the warehouse and yard following established guidelines. Responsible for securing merchandise in the warehouse, yard, and lot at Wilco Stores while operating equipment and vehicles. Keep the store adequately stocked with merchandise stored in the warehouse or yard. Operate forklifts and delivery vehicles safely. Assemble merchandise as directed by supervisors. Uphold and comply with established retail standards. Deliver merchandise to customers as needed. Engage in merchandising, signage, and store upkeep as assigned. Maintain knowledge of Wilco's various specialty accounts and provide information to customers as necessary. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Special Skills/Training

Ability to effectively interact with customers and team members. Proficiency in safely and efficiently operating a forklift and other facility equipment. Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Capability to perform basic arithmetic calculations. Skill in recognizing various products. Minimum age of 18 years due to forklift operation requirements.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive bending. Capability to lift up to 120 lbs (e.g., hay bales) and frequently lift up to 50 lbs.
