Warehouse Operations Specialist

JOB PURPOSE: To fulfill the mission of Wilco by effectively delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring operational efficiency.

JOB SUMMARY: Welcome customers and assist with loading products from the warehouse, yard, and eCommerce selections. Provide detailed product information and maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse and yard areas. Unload, verify, and stock merchandise in the warehouse and yard.

Responsibilities

Deliver outstanding customer service and product knowledge regarding warehouse and yard items. Safely and efficiently load and transport merchandise following established protocols and guidelines. Uphold a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols and wearing appropriate safety gear. Execute eCommerce operations as directed by BOPIS. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the store warehouse and outdoor areas through daily recovery processes. Unload, verify, and stock merchandise in accordance with established procedures. Ensure proper security of warehouse, yard, and lot merchandise at Wilco Stores and during equipment/vehicle use. Keep the store well-stocked with merchandise from the warehouse or yard. Operate forklifts and delivery vehicles safely. Assemble merchandise as instructed by management. Adhere to established retail standards consistently. Deliver merchandise to customers as required. Participate in merchandising, signage, and store upkeep as assigned. Maintain knowledge of Wilco's various specialty accounts and provide information to customers as needed. Perform additional responsibilities and tasks as assigned.

Special Skills/Training

Ability to effectively interact with customers and team members. Proficiency in safely and efficiently operating a forklift and other facility equipment. Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Capability to perform basic arithmetic calculations. Skill in product identification. Minimum age of 18 years due to forklift operation requirements.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive bending. Capacity to lift items weighing up to 120lbs (e.g., hay bales) and frequently lift up to 50lbs.

Work indoors and outdoors year-round.
