Position Overview:

The Department of Psychology is seeking a dedicated and innovative individual for a tenure-track Assistant Professor role specializing in Cognitive Science. This position is designed for candidates with a robust background in areas such as cognitive psychology, behavioral neuroscience, artificial intelligence, comparative psychology, or social cognition. We are particularly interested in applicants whose research can enhance our current faculty expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

1. **Teaching and Mentoring:**
- Deliver engaging instruction in undergraduate and graduate courses, particularly in cognitive psychology and research methods/statistics.
- Provide mentorship to students through advising and research supervision.

2. **Research and Publication:**
- Conduct independent research in cognitive science and related fields.
- Actively publish findings in reputable academic journals.
- Seek external funding opportunities to support research initiatives.

3. **Collaboration:**
- Engage in interdisciplinary research across various fields such as AI and Human-Centered Computing.
- Contribute to the development of the interdisciplinary Ph.D. program in Cognitive Science.

Qualifications:
