Position Overview:

The Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) is seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as a Regulatory Investigations Team Leader. This role is essential in ensuring the integrity of nursing practices and the safety of the public.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership: Oversee and mentor the investigations team, guiding them through the complaint resolution process with a focus on efficiency and professionalism.
  • Case Management: Allocate workloads, conduct thorough case file reviews, and monitor the progress of investigations to ensure timely and comprehensive reporting.
  • Compliance Oversight: Collaborate with legal counsel to manage disciplinary hearings and negotiate settlements, ensuring all actions comply with applicable laws and guidelines.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain professional relationships with various agencies and stakeholders to facilitate effective investigations and compliance efforts.
  • Personnel Development: Participate in recruitment, training, and performance management of investigative staff, fostering a culture of growth and accountability.

Qualifications:

Applicants should possess a minimum of five years of supervisory experience or two years of related experience coupled with a relevant bachelor’s degree. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in complex investigations, particularly within the healthcare sector.
