Position Summary:

The Office Technician (OT) (Typing) within the Behavioral Health Financing Branch is tasked with providing essential clerical assistance while demonstrating a high level of initiative, independence, and creativity in executing advanced journey-level responsibilities. The OT will be accountable for drafting and preparing documents, reviewing and refining text materials, performing data entry, organizing and managing section files, overseeing record retention, procuring section supplies and equipment, handling phone inquiries, distributing correspondence, and updating information on the Department's online platform.

Special Qualifications

The role requires the ability to type at a minimum speed as specified in the Class Specifications. A valid typing certificate confirming your capability to meet the minimum typing speed must be obtained prior to employment.
