Role Overview

We are seeking an innovative Field Marketing Lead to develop and expand Order's marketing strategy within the retail sector. This role will collaborate closely with marketing and sales teams to drive demand generation across various retail sub-industries, including apparel, automotive, food and grocery, furniture, health and beauty, jewelry, and luxury fashion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement a marketing channel strategy tailored for the retail sector, which may involve:
    • Organizing events such as trade shows, conferences, webinars, and executive dinners
    • Building relationships with key industry partners and managing collaborative marketing initiatives
    • Executing account-based marketing campaigns across both digital and traditional platforms to generate leads
    • Collaborating with the demand generation team on content creation, email marketing, public relations, and paid advertising
    • Producing and disseminating industry-specific content
  • Oversee a discretionary budget allocated to various channels, including industry publications, events, and digital marketing
  • Become an expert in the retail market, developing a comprehensive understanding of customer needs, challenges, product functionalities, competitors, partners, and industry trends
  • Maintain alignment with a team of retail-focused Sales Development Representatives and Account Executives
  • Work with Revenue Operations to identify target accounts for account-based marketing and outbound sales strategies
  • Collaborate with product marketing to equip SDRs and AEs with effective messaging and supporting materials
  • Analyze program outcomes, including return on investment and objective key results
Qualifications
  • This hybrid position requires on-site presence a few days per week.
  • Interest or experience in marketing to retail businesses
  • Proven experience in managing events from start to finish, particularly trade shows and webinars
  • Ability to execute marketing campaigns across multiple channels
  • Strong resource allocation skills, with the ability to prioritize initiatives and meet deadlines
  • Proficient in cross-functional collaboration to achieve demand targets
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in team settings
  • Curiosity-driven, with a knack for creative problem-solving and hands-on learning
