1st shift: 6 AM - 2:30 PM

2nd shift: 3 PM - 11:30 PM

Contract Duration: 2 years Contract to Hire

Location: Remote

Essential Qualifications:

- A minimum of 2 years of experience in robotics, automotive, or automation technology, including relevant educational experience.

- Proficiency in interpreting electrical and mechanical schematics.

- Skilled in the use of hand tools, including screwdrivers, Allen wrenches, and multimeters.

- High School Diploma or GED required; an Associate's Degree in Robotics is preferred.

- Willingness to work overtime and weekends as necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Certification in robotics.

Key Responsibilities:

A prominent provider of manufacturing automation solutions is seeking a motivated Robotics Technician. The primary responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring high-quality outcomes during product assembly, modifications, and system integrations based on technical documentation.
  • Following detailed instructions as outlined in the Manufacturing Process Plan, documenting all in-process checks.
  • Utilizing engineering design documents to position, assemble, and secure robotic systems and related equipment.
  • Operating robots using a teach pendant.
  • Managing software updates, backups, and upgrades for factory automation systems.
  • Defining or teaching basic robotic paths.
  • Conducting testing and functional verification of products and systems as specified.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Preparing factory automation products and systems for shipment.
  • Maintaining proper care and compliance with tool management procedures.
  • Exhibiting reliable attendance and maintaining professionalism in all aspects of work.
