This position entails collaborating on model year transitions, enhancing warranty processes, and spearheading initiatives aimed at improving cost efficiency, safety, quality, speed, and data precision. The successful candidate will engage in both programming and troubleshooting of computerized equipment and PLC systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Comprehensive knowledge of manufacturing workflows, products, and compliance with quality assurance standards.
- Expertise in programming for computer systems and control mechanisms utilizing various languages, particularly PLC.
- Proficient in the application of sensors, measurement instruments, and their integration with control systems.
- Acquainted with essential electrical regulations such as NEC Article 409, NFPA 79, and UL 508A.
- Strong analytical skills crucial for addressing complex machinery, analytical tools, and operational challenges, with a meticulous approach to detail.
- Maintenance and improvement of automated systems, providing technical assistance, control programming, and troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with robotic systems, including understanding coordinates, movement types, and connectivity.
- Knowledgeable in hydraulics and pneumatics, capable of interpreting schematics and basic control concepts.
- Demonstrated expertise in vision systems for guidance and inspection applications.
- Exceptional organizational and planning skills, adept at multitasking and managing high-pressure situations effectively.
- Contributing to a positive team atmosphere with a proactive attitude.
- The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree or possess equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience with specific software such as Rockwell Software SQL, Microsoft SQL Database programming, Indramat, and Atlas Copco fastener drivers.
- Experience in programming and troubleshooting Allen-Bradley PLC systems is essential.
- Familiarity with Fanuc Robotics is advantageous.
- Knowledge of Siemens controls, various HMI programming software, vision detection systems, and data scanning devices is beneficial.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication.
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends as required.
