Key Responsibilities:

The Project Management Specialist will collaborate with business stakeholders and product leaders to allocate resources for projects, organize tasks (both planned and unplanned), gather estimates, and keep stakeholders updated throughout the Software Development Lifecycle. You will engage with developers and quality assurance teams to ensure that all business requirements are accurately documented and considered during development and testing phases. You will coordinate demonstrations and User Acceptance Testing to confirm acceptance criteria, provide feedback to the IT team, and guarantee the delivery of outstanding products. Setting clear expectations is essential: we seek a proactive self-starter who can compile information and present it in a clear manner to relevant parties.

Core Duties:

  • Become a subject matter expert in Whisker's eCommerce and operational management systems.
  • Collaborate with product leaders in stakeholder interviews to gather and document business requirements for new or enhanced functionalities in our operational management and eCommerce platforms.
  • Review requirements with Product Managers and Development teams to ensure comprehensive understanding and accurate estimations.
  • Create project plans with timelines and delivery milestones, managing expectations with project stakeholders.
  • Identify and eliminate obstacles hindering project progress.
  • Organize meetings to assess progress and gather feedback on demos while discussing challenges and priorities.
  • Assist in identifying scope changes, keeping stakeholders informed about the implications of changes on the project, and negotiating timelines.
  • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing with business stakeholders, document and relay feedback to the development team, and manage revisions through the review process.
  • Communicate and schedule deployments, assisting with post-deployment validation.
  • Ensure all project activities are well-organized using our project management tools.
  • Collaborate with IT and other project managers to continuously enhance our workflows and processes, improving efficiency and quality.
Qualifications:

What You Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Business, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience with project management tools.
  • 5+ years of experience managing software projects in an Agile setting.
  • 5+ years of experience collaborating with executive leadership, business clients, and developers across various technical levels.
  • General understanding of key web technologies.
  • Knowledge of eCommerce and fulfillment components.
  • Familiarity with internet marketing, SEO, and analytics tools.
  • Ability to work across different teams.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proven track record of guiding projects from inception to successful completion.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Capability to remain composed under pressure, focusing on objectives while maintaining a positive attitude amidst changing priorities.
  • Ability to foster a professional environment in a dynamic setting with frequent interactions.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations.
  • Experience with warehouse management software.
